Add a little drama to your holiday
On the 22nd September 2008, specialist operator Spirit of Greece, are holding a week long drama workshop on the beautiful island of Paxos in the charming village of Loggos.Consisting of five half day sessions, conducted by professional actor/director Mike Sherman, the course will concentrate on 'actioning the text', a technique favoured by the likes of Max Stafford Clark and Marianne Elliot of The National in which participants will learn the techniques used to create character and unlock the text, culminating in an end of week show case.
Aimed at keen amateur dramatists, the holiday is perfect for those who want to learn new acting techniques with like minded people under the guidance of a professional actor/director yet have time to enjoy the delights that Paxos has to offer.

Course tutor Mike Sherman is an actor, writer and director with over twenty five years experience and many acting credits to his name including runs in the West End, The National and various rep. and touring companies. On TV he has appeared in numerous sit-coms including Kiss Me Kate and The Brittas Empire plus dramas including Touching Evil, Rosemary & Tyme and Filth – The Mary Whitehouse Story.
Spirit of Greece offers a range of villas and apartments on Paxos from luxury three bedroom villas with private pools to comfortable one bedroom apartments. The drama course is an optional add-on and could be taken by all or just one of a party.
