Eurocamp goes Haute Couture

Europe’s leading camping operator, Eurocamp has teamed up with eco designer Bill Brown to develop an exclusive eco beach bag for holiday makers. The Bill Brown beach bag is exclusive to Eurocamp and fashioned from only natural products; hand loom cotton and coconut shell, making it the perfect travel companion for a trip to the beach or supermarket.

The designer bag will be included in a complimentary travel pack which is mailed out to customers once they have booked their Eurocamp holiday. The pack also comes filled with other holiday goodies including a beach ball, outdoor super-size snakes & ladders, mini paddling pool and an eco shopping bag.

The provision of the eco shopper, made from biodegradable material, is part of Eurocamp’s drive to encourage holiday-makers to be more environmentally conscious. Especially as unlike the UK, some other European countries, including France, have now banned the use of free plastic bags in supermarkets.

Starting out his career in Spain as a furniture designer, Bill Brown stumbled on his career as a bag designer by chance – in order to utilise a basket of fabric ends he endeavoured to make some bags as fun Christmas presents for friends. The chic yet functional design proved to be a massive success.

Bill went on to establish his brand in 1997. His bags can now be found in many independent fashion stores and boutiques throughout Europe and more recently Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the US but can also be bought directly through the website.
