Cox & Kings launches New Zealand tour

The company’s comprehensive 20-night group tour Grand Tour of New Zealand explores the spectacular scenery of this country, encompassing the highlights of both North and South Islands. Starting in North Island, the tour takes in the coastal scenery of the Bay of Islands, the volcanic region of Rotorua, and the capital city of Wellington. In South Island, visitors explore wineries, take a scenic TranzAlpine train journey, see the glacial landscapes of Franz Josef and Mount Cook, and visit the cities of Queenstown, Dunedin and Christchurch.
Grand Tour of New Zealand will form part of a new programme focusing on New Zealand and Australia, to be launched by Cox & Kings later this year. Cox & Kings’ Product Manager for the region, Aaron Jennings, says:
“We are delighted to launch this specialist tour of New Zealand, which is one of the most comprehensive tours on the market, combining history and Maori culture with the spectacular natural landscape of mountains and glaciers. The combination of expert tour leaders and small group sizes mean that visitors will come away with a real knowledge and understanding of the country.”
Cox & Kings’ Grand Tour of New Zealand costs from £4,195 per person including flights with Air New Zealand, accommodation with breakfast and some additional meals, transfers and all guided excursions. The tour can be extended at either end to spend time in Hong Kong or in Fiji.
