In addition to a valid DEFRA approved veterinary certificate showing that your pet has been micro chipped, vaccinated and blood tested for antibodies to rabies, you will need to provide your pooch or moggy with a pet passport. You will also need a valid DEFRA approved certificate showing your pet has been treated against ticks and tapeworm not less than 24 hours, and not more than 48 hours, prior check-in for your return to the UK.
