Try the ‘tapas’ approach to activity holidays

The packages are tailor-made and so flexible to what you want to try and when, and can include accommodation and transport as you wish.
The “Active” and “Cultural” Tapas Weeks (6 nights/7days) are offered in and around the majestic, historical city of Granada. Summer is a particularly good time to visit, as Granada takes on a mellow, relaxed mood, during the absence over the long summer vacations of its 60,000 university students. There are many open-air concerts, dance and theatrical events held in the warm nights, often in stunning venues such as the Alhambra.
The “Cultural” Tapas Week offers literally a taste of many things, including a cookery class with a young Spanish chef; a relaxing soak in the Moorish ambience of the Arab Baths (hammam); a night-time flamenco revel (zambra) in the caves of Sacromonte; a guided walk in the sultans’ former hunting estates above the Alhambra; and a tour of Granada’s lively, photogenic markets ending with a tasting in a delicatessen of fine regional products.
The “Active” Tapas Week seeks to take advantage of some of the great venues for active sports within easy reach of Granada. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada, whose peaks reach up to over 11,000 feet and are covered in snow for over 7 months of the year, you can hike and mountain-bike amid dramatic scenery; go horse riding on beautiful trails through pine forests; and cycle the back roads of the plains below, passing by almond and olive groves and quiet little villages. Then in the warm breezes of Granada's Tropical Coast try your hand at windsurfing and go sea kayaking in the clear Mediterranean waters.
Prices for the 6 night packages start from 499€ per person for “Cultural” and from 599€ pp for “Active” and are based on two sharing twin accommodation in a two-star hotel in Granada city centre. The packages can be tailored to suit almost all requirements and dates and can include different or additional activities to those featured.
