One click for a travel flick
As the power of the internet as a tool for researching holidays reaches new heights (over 75% of consumers in the UK now use the web to help choose their destination), Travel Indochina is delighted to announce the launch of its brand new, high quality website travel videos. In today’s economic climate, and with customers spoilt for choice, committing to a long haul holiday can be a tough decision. With this in mind and to help its customers with their dilemma, leading Asia specialist, Travel Indochina, has put together a range of amazing video clips, showing some of the many highlights offered in its small group journeys. Each clip shows real footage from their tours, with commentary from the tour guides and customers giving their own, unbiased views and tips on the places of interest in the fascinating countries of Vietnam and Cambodia .
Traditional holiday packages now make up less than half of the market as British consumers increasingly look for “experiences” rather than the traditional “fly and flop” holiday; Travel Indochina’s selection of small group journeys enables customers to see the “real” Asia, under the reassuring guidance of an experienced English-speaking tour leader. As General Manager, Chris Orme explains: “We pride ourselves on our reputation for giving our customers a true flavour of the destinations we feature, and the launch of our travel videos enables us to share their experiences with other potential clients.”
The Discover Vietnam and Discover Cambodia video clips give an in-depth guide to each of the places of interest in these stunning countries. As well as a general destination overview, customers can click on individual towns and even off-the-beaten-track villages to sample a true flavour of the many sights, sounds and tastes of a Travel Indochina small group journey. The video clips also give a chance to view the accommodation included on the tour as well as information on the people, cuisine and the local tour guides. Each clip is informative, but succinct, meaning that customers can come back to the website as and when they wish without having to view hours of footage.
Travel Indochina is in a league of its own when it comes to offering its customers a chance to meet the people, savour the cuisine and experience Asia - without any of the hassles often associated with independent travel, but with all the rewards! The combination of western tour leaders and local guides makes the small group journeys unique and the fact that groups are limited to a maximum size of 15 like-minded travellers means that each journey provides plenty of space for discovery.
Orme explains: “We always try to find ways to see things that are different from trips offered by other tour operators, from walking through the forest at dawn to catch sunrise at the iconic Angkor Wat, to taking customers to some of the lesser-known but equally impressive temples. Our website videos don’t give all the secrets away, but will certainly give our customers a good idea of the unique “Travel Indochina” experience they will be guaranteed.”
Small Group Journeys start from as little as £380 per person (for a 5 day journey to “The Temples of Angkor”) and include accommodation, transfers, internal flights (as specified), all road transportation, sightseeing and a local English-speaking guide. Groups of seven or more will also have the added benefit of a Western tour leader.

Travel Indochina has 15 years’ experience in operating small group journeys to “the real” Asia and unlike many other travel companies limits its group size to a maximum of 15 people. The smaller groups enable travellers to gain the best from both worlds - greater access to the local culture and plenty of opportunities for independent exploration.
