A story of two halves – Central Europe

Prague to Vienna
8-days, departing Prague 27th July and 7th and 28th September 08.
In Prague, explore the Old Town Square, cross the time-honoured Charles Bridge and head up the hill to Hradcany and Prague Castle. Uncover the magnificent Gothic Cathedral of St Barbara in Kutna Hora, then experience the epitome of a charming, picturesque Bohemian town in Cesky Krumlov. Crossing from the Czech Republic to Austria, follow the River Danube from the Wachau Valley to Vienna, finishing with a walk from St Stephen’s Cathedral to the Imperial Hofburg Palace.

The tour costs £895 p/p (land only) including 7-nights hotel accommodation, some meals, transport, sightseeing and the services of a Peregrine tour leader.

Eastern Europe Odyssey
8-days, departing Vienna 3rd August and 14th September 08.
From Vienna, centre of the Habsburg Empire, travel to Slovakia’s capital of Bratislava. In Budapest, the ‘grand old lady’ of Eastern Europe, visit the many fine museums and monuments including the Chain Bridge and Houses of Parliament (based on those of London). Relax in the historic Rudas Thermal Baths, then head into the Hungarian countryside, with its huge cathedrals and grand castles before the journey concludes in Poland’s former capital Krakow.

Journey through Central Europe
