SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 28 September
Singapore is the second of two new venues on the Formula 1 calendar this year and provides an incredible destination for the racing enthusiast. The event takes place at night on a floodlit street circuit that winds its way through the Marina Bay area where cars roar around a three-mile track of 61 laps and 24 turns.

Held annually on the banks of the Mekong, this is one of Cambodia’s biggest and most extravagant festivals. Over three days, during the full moon, up to a million people flock to the banks of the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers in Phnom Penh to watch hundreds of brightly-coloured boats, some up to 20 metres in length, each with over 50 crazy paddlers, do battle in highly competitive races.

Each intricately decorated boat, representing one of Cambodia's 21 provinces, races for top honours in a tradition that dates back to the powerful navy of King Jayavarman II, the 9th-century founder of the great Angkorian Empire.
