Haven Holidays are determined to cater for every taste and budget on their 35 family holiday parks around the UK. The company are keen to dispel some of the myths about caravanning, not only is it cool to camp, in some instances it can be positively luxurious.

Top of the pops is the Platinum Exclusive, available at just a handful of parks. With spacious verandahs to take advantage of the fabulous sea or lakeside views the caravans have all mod cons from contemporary furniture and beautifully fitted kitchens to heated bedrooms with ensuite facilities. “They are more like luxury apartments than traditional caravans” say Haven. “At Riviere Sands our Exclusive holiday homes have wonderful, uninterrupted views across the bay to St Ives – and at Burnham on Sea you are just a few steps from the lake.”

Platinum accommodation has been introduced to meet the growing demand for more luxury on holiday. Don’t fancy cooking?

Book a break at Haven’s Craig Tara in Scotland or Hafan y Mor in North Wales and you can forget about cooking. If you prefer to pack up your own home from home and stay in a touring caravan or a tent, Haven have a choice of 21 parks with touring facilities. Not only is it cool to camp - it’s also very cheap! Stay on a park and enjoy all the facilities from £5 per night (based on a basic pitch at Blue Dolphin on7th July for up to four people). Super pitches include hook up to water and electricity as well as mains drainage – every home comfort in fact.
