Tourist Tracks launches MP3 Walking Tour of Ely

Visitors to Ely can now enjoy a walking tour of the city and its cathedral using their very own iPod or MP3 player. Tourist Tracks has added Ely to its growing portfolio of destinations in the UK featuring a downloadable MP3 walking tour. The Ely tour pack contains two tours - one of the city and one of the interior of the cathedral (a separate entrance fee is payable). The city tour is a 60-minute stroll giving visitors the opportunity to discover the history behind the city's name, its origins as an island and walk along the banks of the River Ouse.

The cathedral tour is 45-minute guided walk around the inside of the landmark, giving visitors an insight into the architecture and the history of the building and its chapels. Please note, a separate entrance fee is payable to go in to the cathedral, except on Sundays, when it is free.

The Ely tour pack, containing both tours, can be downloaded direct from tourist-tracks.com for just £5, or is available on CD for £8+p&p. As a special offer, customers can purchase the Ely pack with the Cambridge tour pack, which contains two walks of the nearby historic University City, for just £8.
