Rally through Brittany on a gastro-camper tour

12th August 2008 Print
If you adore camping and cuisine, why not join Eurocamp Independent’s gastro rally tour through Brittany this September to experience fresh air, friendship and fantastic French food. Hop across the Channel and take a seven night guided food tour for only £439 including ferry crossings.

Park or pitch up at Eurocamp Independent’s beautiful Domaine des Ormes site for the week; a firm favourite set in a vast estate of wooded parkland just outside the market town of Dol-de-Bretagne.

Meet fellow cuisine-campers over a game of golf on the site’s 18 hole course or simply relax by the beautiful chateau and three lakes before the guided food tour begins. Experience rally highlights such as the trip out to Cancale; a picturesque fishing village known as the oyster capital of Brittany, and the Soiree Bretonne evening where you can sample the delicious local ciders and crepes.

After discovering the delights of Brittany’s infamous cuisine, there’s also plenty of time to explore the region’s prettiest places with visits to the walled town of Saint Malo, the medieval citadel of Dinan and a trip to take in the sights of Mont St Michel all included within the rally.

Seven nights for two adults costs from £439 and includes return ferry crossings for car and caravan, pitch with electricity, welcome drinks, excursions to attractions with coach pick-up from the campsite, plus a restaurant meal at Le Mont St Michel. Arrival on site is September 1st with departure on the 8th.
