A great escape for a champagne festival

Franschhoek, the Valley of the Huguenots, in South Africa, is one of the premier destinations in the World of Wine – and is also the “Gourmet Capital of South Africa” – making it the perfect “Grape Escape” for discerning travellers who enjoy the finer things in life!
December 2008 will see the valley, which has over 40 wine farms, celebrate the ‘Magic of Bubbles’, during the annual Franschhoek Cap Classique and Champagne Festival. A decadent weekend of gourmet cuisine, popping corks and flutes overflowing with the finest South African Cap Classique and French Champagne.

Eat Out recognise “Mange Tout”
Another reason to visit Mont Rochelle (as if you would need one!) is that its Restaurant, Mange Tout, was recently honoured in 3 of the 11 categories by “Eat Out magazine” in their annual People’s Choice Awards 2008.
The restaurant featured in the “Fab 15”, “Top 10 Hotel Dining” and “Top 10 Views” categories, undoubtedly a result of the passion and expertise of Owner/Managing Director, Erwin Schnitzler (who has also owned a number of Michelin Restaurants) and the culinary talents of Executive Chef, Ryan Smith. Mange Tout’s gourmet cuisine is complemented by the finest wines and views of "Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful settings in the world''.
