The brochure’s carefully selected range of themed itineraries gives customers an unparalleled choice of discoveries and experiences at exceptional value for money. Prices lead in at £995 per person for an 8 day ‘Essence of the Fjords’ tour, a no fly holiday departing from Newcastle, Tyneside on board the Boudicca. The voyage takes in some of the spectacular mountain scenery, waterfalls and beautiful coastal towns of Norway, including Alesund, Olden and Flam, with a scenic railway journey and lunch in Voss. In addition there are two new ‘no fly’ itineraries that include Norway. These both depart from Dover. Firstly, the Nordic Natural Wonders itinerary is a 13-day odyssey aboard the Fred. Olsen Braemar, taking in Norway, Iceland and the Orkney and Faeroe Islands. Particular highlights include a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Berven, cruising into a Norwegian fjord and a visit to Geysir in Iceland – home of the original natural waterspout. Slightly shorter in duration is the 10-day Norway and Scotland Explorer, which departs on 17 July aboard the Fred Olsen Balmoral. This cruise visits Bergen and the majestic Sognefjord in Norway before moving on to the Orkneys and the Scottish mainland. This particular holiday costs from £1175 per person, with both prices including full-board accommodation, £50 on-board credit and Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service.

In Asia a further new itinerary has been added. This 19-day Aspects of Asia adventure travels from Hong Kong to Singapore, via Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. The tour begins with two full days in Hong Kong before embarking on a 14-night cruise aboard the Azamara Quest (a ship so luxurious that there is one member of staff per every two guests, including complimentary butler service to all staterooms).

Olsen Balmoral for a 14-night cruise along the eastern seaboard of Maritime Canada and the USA, taking in such highlights as Boston, New York, Martha’s Vineyard and the Bay of Fundy.

Over on the Pacific coast, meanwhile, the 14-day San Francisco, Coast Starlight & Alaskan Cruise blends a discovery of San Francisco’s many spectacular sights with a rail journey to Seattle aboard Amtrak’s scenic Coast Starlight service and a seven-night voyage along Alaska’s stunning coastline on the Norwegian Pearl. The holiday costs from £2,395 per person for departures between May and September 2009.
