Looking to conceive? Then head to Western Australia

30th September 2008 Print
Nicole Kidman has claimed that swimming in waterfalls in Kununurra, Western Australia, led to seven babies including her daughter Sunday Rose being conceived during the filming of Baz Luhrmann’s Australia.

The small town should now expect a flurry of visits from couples wanting to boost their own chances of starting a family. Those wanting to visit Kununurra and also explore more of the remote region’s highlights can do so on the following trip from OzXposure:

Broome to Darwin 4WD
A nine-day trip through the Kimberley region, taking in the best sights of Western Australia’s far north. The tour leaves from Broome, making a few stops to swim and hike in remote landscape before spending a complete day exploring the unusual rock formations of the Bungle Bungles. From there, 4WD is engaged to head to Kununurra, including its Hidden Valley, township and perhaps even the same waterfall where Nicole Kidman went swimming. Crossing back into the Northern Territory, the group will travel via Victoria River and Katherine on to Darwin, where the tour ends.

Prices start from £766 per person, excluding flights. Book online at OzXposure.co.uk.

Travellers will also visit Kununurra on the following OzXposure tours:

Perth to Darwin – 21 days, from £1,413 per person excluding flights
All of Oz – 69 days, from £4,392 per person excluding flights
