Sky high demand for Keycamp tree houses

29th October 2008 Print
Sky high demand for Keycamp tree houses After unprecedented demand this year, Keycamp is launching more of its tree houses for 2009. But with availability already limited, those wanting to experience their very own treetop adventure will need to book quickly. If you’re not sure whether to take the plunge, CBBC’s fabulous Gimme a Break this weekend shows what one of Keycamp’s popular tree houses has to offer (1 November, BBC 2, 8:30am).

One of the 5 new tree houses to be added to this year’s programme can be found at Le Val de Bonnal in Rougemont in the Jura. Set in the former estate of a chateau, this glorious lakeside site offers first-rate facilities for the whole family, including a swimming pool complex, plus activities such as fishing, bike hire, gym and canoeing.

A seven night break starting from 16 May for a family of two adults and up to four children staying in a two bedroom treehouse for two nights, followed by five nights in a three bedroom Villagrand with decking, will cost £414, accommodation only, including a special £35 discount for those booking before 6 November.

Tree houses can also be found at sites at Dol and Carnac in Brittany, Chambord in the Loire Valley and La Foret in the Vendee, plus Berny Riviere, near Paris, which features in Gimme a Break.
