MSC Cruises reports surge in calls and bookings

Managing director, MSC Cruises UK and Ireland, Giulio Libutti, attributes this substantial rise in calls and bookings to a number of factors: “We extended our opening hours in September, to stay open for longer during the week and are now open on Sunday for the first time and we have definitely seen good results from this move.
“We are also seeing an amazing response to our sailings from Dover on MSC Lirica next year – the cabins are already filling up. The launch of our largest ship so far, MSC Fantasia, in Naples, Italy this December is also creating a lot of interest, thanks to its fantastic design, innovative onboard facilities and exclusive MSC Yacht Club, where guests are waited on hand and foot by our professional-trained butlers.”
Flagship MSC Fantasia can accommodate nearly 4,000 passengers and will cruise the Mediterranean year-round. It is the first ship in the MSC Cruises fleet to have a magrodome – a retractable sun roof over the main pool area, I Tropici.
