Footloose and fancy free in Vietnam

22nd December 2008 Print
Footloose and fancy free in Vietnam Leading Asia-specialist, Travel Indochina, has come up with the perfect solution for discerning travellers affected by the credit crunch, but unwilling to compromise on holiday preference.

The introduction of two “Footloose in Vietnam” itineraries demonstrates the tour operator’s reputation for being in tune with its customers – none of the usual high touring standards have been compromised, but free time has been increased and prices have come down by up to 20%!

The “Footloose in Vietnam” itineraries will be operated daily by the Asia specialist and have been largely based around the popular “Highlights of Vietnam” and “Vietnam Discovery” small group journeys operated by the company. Both itineraries showcase the diversity and complexity of this stunning country, with one giving the option of a 10 day trip and, for those with slightly more time to spare, a 14 day journey.

The 10-day itinerary is an ideal choice for those travellers wanting to experience the variety and multiplicity that Vietnam has to offer, but who have limited time. From the vibrancy and excitement of Saigon, through the ancient streets of charming Hoi An to the ancient rhythms of Hue and the capital Hanoi, this journey pays witness to some of the country’s most appealing sights.

The 14- day “Footloose in Vietnam” itinerary also takes in some of the country’s most amazing attractions, including the orchards of the Mekong Delta, the majestic mountains of Dalat and the tropical beaches of Nha Trang. Guests will sample the real way of life in Vietnam, but also have the opportunity to make their own discoveries – still with plenty of time for indulgence and relaxation.

Travel Indochina’s general manager, Chris Orme, comments: “Our ‘Footloose in Vietnam’ itineraries have been tailor-made for those clients who wish to see all the main sights and attractions included on our main Vietnam small group journeys, but who are feeling the pressures of the credit crunch. We have built some free time into the programmes to enable our customers to further explore this amazing country on their own, or simply to relax and savour the hypnotic atmosphere of Vietnam.”

The 10-day “Footloose in Vietnam” small group journey costs £935, representing a saving of 20% and the 14-day trip costs £1,145, which equates to a saving of 17.5%. All prices are based on twin-share accommodation and include local transportation and transfers, sightseeing as specified, local English-speaking guides and a daily breakfast.
