A haven for group holidays

Haven, who were voted ‘Best UK Tour Operator’ and ‘Best Travel Company’ by the travel trade, have 34 holiday parks in lovely locations all around the UK – but the £99 lead-in price includes much more than comfortable accommodation, excellent venues and facilities and easy access to some of Britain’s top beaches and resorts.

Customers can expect organised sports and activities including football, basketball, mini-sports and the popular ‘Wake and Shake’ sessions at no extra cost. Kids clubs are also included in the price with ‘Little Cubs’ sessions for 1-4 year olds; ‘Club R&B’ for 5-11’s and even T-CO Zone for teenagers.

And the entertainment programme – designed to keep all ages happy and amused – is also free of charge. Annabel said, “In 2009 you can enjoy pantos, character shows with Rory the Tiger and his friends, circus performances, live bands, stage-shows, tribute bands and some first class comedy ….all at no extra cost.”

New Groups Website

The Haven Groups website (havengroups.co.uk) has been completely redesigned to provide comprehensive information in a format that makes it easy to plan group events and activities.

“We’ve carried out considerable research into exactly what our customers want when they make a group booking,” said Annabel. “The end result is easy to navigate and has comprehensive information about our parks and facilities – especially in relation to what makes each park unique. We’ve included 360 degree videos to give a real feel for the parks.

“There’s a complete section for events and we’ve made the enquiry page especially easy to use, recognising that each group has very different needs and requirements.’

Other features of the website include the Special Offers page (check out 20% discount deals for groups) and a News and Views section which will be updated monthly.

A ‘Group Booking’ can be as few as five holiday homes – or a solus event taking over an entire park. Haven have a dedicated Specialist Sales Team to look after group bookings and special events – anything from a few friends and family getting together for a special occasion to sporting groups or corporate launches.

Spring breaks start at £99 (including the early booking deal) based on a party of up to six in superior self-catering accommodation at selected parks and dates. Dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation is also available at two parks.
