Venue Holidays launches 2009 brochure

At the launch of its 2009 brochure, featuring camping and mobile home holidays at 22 resorts in France, Italy and Spain, specialist tour operator Venue Holidays is highlighting a brand new water park which is due to become the largest campsite swimming pool area in France.

The new pool complex, at the pine-forested Camping Le Vieux Port on France's south Atlantic coast, near Messanges, is due to open in June and will have outdoor, indoor and wave pools, three waterchutes and a children's activity pool, plus a spa and solarium.

14-nights-for-the-price-of-seven - which means a two-week holiday in a four-bedroom fully equipped family tent costs only £239 for holidays commencing on 13 June.

Other onsite facilities at this resort include bike hire, day and evening entertainment and a children's club. Meanwhile, the massive sandy beach is just a pleasant walk through the dunes, or a quick chug on the campsite train.

Costs at Camping Le Vieux Port for a week in a 2-bedroom mobile home start at £219 in May rising to £897 in the peak season.

All the operator's prices are the total for two adults and up to four children and include a return midweek saver ferry crossing from Dover-Calais with P&O Ferries or SeaFrance.

As with all the operator's prices, those who prefer to make their own travel arrangements can deduct £50 from all prices (in this instance, Biarritz airport is just 32 miles away from the resort).

Towel and bed linen hire can be arranged on request. Larger three-bedroom mobile homes are available at Camping Le Vieux Port. Air-conditioned mobile homes and wooden decking options are also available at selected resorts.
