Mercedes-Benz announces April 2007 pricing actions
In its annual inflationary review, Mercedes-Benz has adjusted the prices of some of its models, registered from 1 April 2007, applying an average increase of 0.6 per cent across the range. The list price for the entry-level A 150 Classic three-door hatch rises just £70, giving an on-the-road price of £13,840.Four model ranges: C-Class Estate, the new CL-Class Coupé, the R-Class Luxury Multi-Activity Vehicle and the award-winning S-Class Saloon, remain at their 2006 price levels. Similarly, the M-Class Edition S, SLK-Class Sport Edition and SLK Edition 10 remain at their previous prices.
The vast majority of options also remain at their previous price levels. The smoker’s package now costs £20 across the range, although a 12V socket and rubber oddments tray remain standard equipment on all models.
Cup holders on CLK-Class and SLK-Class models now cost £30; the more elaborate version fitted to the CLS-Class is £60; whilst CD storage on the CLK-Class is £50. Upgraded leather upholstery options on CL-Class, S-Class and SL-Class are also modified.
