Students - TrekAmerica wants you!

This summer, one lucky student and seven of their friends could find themselves on the roadtrip of a lifetime across America with the return of TrekAmerica’s 8 Mates Across The States competition.

The competition prize includes the ultimate 10-day Stateside adventure tour, including flights from Continental Airlines, for eight lucky people, courtesy of TrekAmerica (trekamerica.co.uk). This is sure to score the winner some free pints in the student union bar.

The group will depart for the US on June 30th 2009, heading straight for the famous sights of Hollywood, Los Angeles, where their action packed 10-day tour will begin. From here, they will cruise north along California’s Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco to take in the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and more of the city’s coolest highlights.

Next, the group will head to the hills for six full days of camping in the heart of the North American wilderness, surrounded by the awesome scenery in some of America’s most spectacular national parks including Yosemite, Zion and the mighty Grand Canyon. The final stop of this incredible trip is in Las Vegas, for a cruise down the strip in a super-stretch limo.

The full prize includes return flight with Continental Airlines for eight people, a private tour bus, the services of a tour leader, hotel accommodation in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas, a stretch limo tour in Las Vegas, all camping equipment, meals whilst camping and entrance to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Zion National Parks.
