Mercedes-Benz celebrates with a range of attractive new offers

Registration figures released by SMMT have shown that March 2007 was the most successful month in the UK history of Mercedes-Benz with 16,649 new cars registered, just beating March 2006’s previous best. The company has also announced its latest raft of attractive finance offers and complimentary equipment upgrades.

Registration success across the board
The registration result is all the more remarkable as the company’s most popular model – the C-Class Saloon – is in run-out prior to the arrival of the all-new model’s debut in June.

Success was spread widely across the entire range and four variants recorded their highest registration figures in March: the C-Class Estate registered 826 units; new S-Class recorded 619 registrations; CL-Class registrations were 169 in its launch month; and R-Class with 308 units – the latter three ranges also having best-ever first quarter results alongside the CLS-Class four door coupé.

Simon Oldfield, Sales Director Mercedes Car Group, commented on the figures: “To achieve these excellent results in a tough market and with our highest volume model in very limited supply is a tribute to the efforts of sales teams in our retailers around the country and to the excellence of the whole Mercedes-Benz product range.

“This great sales performance was supported by a range of, mainly, finance offers which highlighted the excellent value for money our cars represent.”

Quarter two offers
This attractive range of offers has been expanded further for the next three months. Mercedes-Benz has a number of incentives available on certain cars registered from now until 30 June 2007. Simon Oldfield continued: “A new Mercedes-Benz is an affordable reality for a wide number of retail and corporate customers. With strong residual values and fixed service intervals, budgeting for a new car is easier than ever.

A-Class
Personal contract plan (PCP): A 150 Classic SE 3dr (metallic) for £189 per month over 36 months and an annual mileage of 10,000. Customer deposit is £1,999 with an attractive APR of 5.9%.

Operating lease: A 150 Classic SE 3dr (metallic) on a 6 + 35 month term and an annual mileage of 10,000, with a monthly payment of £179 + VAT.


B-Class
PCP: A 36 month PCP with an annual mileage of 10,000 on a B 150 SE (metallic) for £229 per month, with a customer deposit of £2,999 and an attractive APR of 5.9%.

Operating lease: B 150 SE (metallic) on a 6 + 35 month term and an annual mileage of 10,000, with a monthly payment of £229 + VAT.


C-Class Estate
Complimentary SE upgrade for the price of a Classic (or complimentary upgrade from Classic SE to Sport Edition) PLUS upgrade to automatic gearbox. This adds up to £1950-worth of added value to the customer.


E-Class Saloon
PCP: A 36 month term and an annual mileage of 10,000. E 220 CDI Avantgarde automatic for £319 per month. Customer deposit is £4,999 with an attractive APR of 4.2%.

Operating lease: A 6 + 35 month term with an annual mileage of 10,000 on an E 220 CDI Avantgarde automatic. The monthly payment will be £329 + VAT.


CLK 220 CDI Coupé
This popular model is now offered with a complimentary upgrade to “Sport” trim – worth £2,128 – on certain models.


CLS-Class
