Maxi fun at mini prices

22nd January 2009 Print
Maxi fun at mini prices This season Haven Holidays are offering lots of activities for younger children – at no extra cost to holidaymakers. “Taking children on holiday can be expensive and we’ve tried to ease the burden for families by including even more activities in the cost of our holidays,” say Haven Holidays who operate 35 family holiday parks around the UK.

Free activities for under 5’s include mini-fencing, mini- archery, mini-tennis and tri-golf. Wake and Shake sessions, introduced last year are aimed at little ones but have already proved popular with families. The exercise sessions include a variety of easy, low impact activities such as mini-trampolines, space hoppers, hula hoops, Diablo, Frisbee and agility training. And you can progress to Character Olympics if you want to keep up the exercise habit!

Heated indoor leisure pools are free of charge to holidaymakers and if your kids get tired of swimming and using the slides, flumes and splash areas, the whole family can take part in the water-based ‘It’s a Knockout’ sessions.

Other activities available at modest extra charge (around £5 per session) include trained coaching in golf, football, fishing, basketball, tennis, golf, archery and fencing (available at most parks – check the website for details).

Book before 31st January and a wide choice of selected Spring and early Summer breaks are still available at half price. Three or four night breaks start at £99 for family of four in standard self-catering accommodation including the half price offer.
