Mondial UK invests in a new fleet, boosting the level of roadside assistance care for Mercedes-Benz customers. The vehicles act as mobile workshops for Mondial roadside assistance technicians, bringing customers an even faster response and permanent repair rate. The new fleet is part of Mondial’s ongoing commitment to enhanced customer care across the network.

Following intensive testing of various Mercedes models, Mondial has put 32 R-Class cars and 29 Vito vans on fleet around the country, replacing the existing Sprinters. All on board fitments and storage are bespoke to the vehicles, including a separate customer waiting area complete with refreshments, periodicals and DC power for laptops. The Vitos feature full on-board diagnostic equipment, allowing the highly trained Mercedes-Benz team to provide quality roadside assistance to motorists in need.

Simon Cook, Automotive Director for Mondial UK, comments, “Mondial continues to invest in the quality of its fleet, ensuring our engineers have access to the best equipment. We are continually looking at ways to enhance our service, focusing on providing a high level of service at the roadside.

“The new fleet is fully Mercedes-Benz branded to reflect the manufacturer’s core values, with a focus on customer care. The new fleet means we can help Mercedes further strengthen the premium level of service it offers its customers, ensuring our engineers reach motorists quickly and efficiently.“
