For families reluctant to leave their beloved dog at home when taking their annual holiday, help is at hand from Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks in North Devon.The company has expanded its choice of pet-friendly accommodation for 2009 - following its successful introduction last year - and is offering more caravan holiday homes especially equipped to cater for our canine friends.
'Pet friendly' accommodation is situated within easy access to footpaths and exercise areas and is equipped with a comfy dog bed (covers changed on every arrival), healthy treats, doggy toy, feeding and water bowls, plus the essential pooper-scooper.
Guests are also provided with a 'Woof Guide', packed full of useful information including details of coastal and countryside footpaths, 'dog friendly' pubs and restaurants, details of local vets, along with walking opportunities on local beaches and the Parks themselves.
Prices in 2009 start from just £100 for a seven-night holiday in a fully equipped two bedroom caravan holiday home sleeping four. Short breaks - three-night weekend or four-night midweek - lead in at £60 per party.
A sum of £20 is payable for each canine friend in the party.
