Australian specialist launches wedding service

23rd February 2009 Print
Tailor-made tour operator Freedom Australia is now able to arrange Wedding ceremonies, as well as unforgettable honeymoons, in Australia and New Zealand.

Featured in the company's new 2009/10 brochure, suggested venues where the ceremony can be held include a rainforest chapel near Cairns, idyllic islands on the Great Barrier Reef and Sydney's famous Opera House with the harbour as a backdrop.

An unforgettable ceremony in the shadow of Uluru (Ayers Rock) costs from £1,379 which includes the celebrant's fees and expenses, marriage licence and certificate, bride's bouquet, wine, wedding cake, a Sounds of Silence dinner under the stars, commemorative photo frame, transport to Uluru lookout - a great place for photographs (not included) - and the services of a local wedding co-ordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly.

"The legalities for marrying in Australia and New Zealand are straightforward," says the company's managing director David Wallis, "and our wedding consultants will ensure that all the paperwork is submitted in good time."

The company also offers a Gift Scheme service, allowing family and friends to donate - as a wedding present - to the couple's Australian wedding experience.
