'Mini-Chef ' breaks at Haven Holiday Parks

Move over Masterchef! It’s ‘Mini-chef’ on Haven Holiday parks as Britain's favourite family holiday park operator invites children's food guru Annabel Karmel MBE to host special breaks for under-5's.

Inspired by all those cooking programmes on the TV? Now it’s time for Haven Holidays’ Ministry of Food! Haven are inviting toddlers to roll up their sleeves, put on their aprons and have fun with the cookie dough!

Baby and child food expert Annabel Karmel MBE will be appearing at a number of special breaks with Haven Holidays – encouraging under-5’s to have fun and get messy with cookie and cake decorating sessions.

“Getting children interested in what they eat is the first step to getting them to try new things” says Annabel. The Creative Kitchen sessions include everything your tinies need to decorate seasonal cakes and cookies under Annabel’s guidance – the children get to eat what they’ve made and Haven do all the clearing up!

The perfect excuse to enjoy some special time with your toddler, the Annabel Karmel breaks also include a Tumble Tots session, extra splashy toddler fun in the pool and extra fun in the ShowBars with party dances, games and competitions. And when you (and your toddler!) finally run out of steam and want to sit back and relax there’s toddler-friendly entertainment with Rory the Tiger, Anxious the Elephant and friends up front and on stage.

The breaks aren’t just for the kids...as a busy mum herself Annabel knows the importance of quick and easy meals for the family and sessions will host a cookery demonstration where she will share her tips on how to make some of her favourite quick and easy recipes for the whole family to enjoy.

And of course, with a genuine child-friendly welcome in the evening venues, Mums and Dads can relax and enjoy a family night out without worrying about babysitters.

The four night Annabel Karmel breaks take place at Hafan y Mor in North Wales, Mon 20th April; Devon Cliffs near Exmouth, Mon 4th May; Combe Haven near Hastings, Mon 22nd June; Haggerston Castle, near Berwick upon Tweed, Mon 14th September. Prices start at £195 for a family of up to six people, in Standard self-catering accommodation, including the £20 special break supplement.

And ‘Annabel’s Creative Kitchen’ sessions will take place at all Haven parks throughout the season run by Haven’s very own FunStars.
