School's out – Special offers on camping holidays

Camping and mobile home specialist, Venue Holidays, has just announced 'School's Out!' offers on peak season holidays starting before 8 August at selected resorts in Brittany and close to Paris.

A 12-night holiday, for example, in a four-bedroom fully equipped tent at Camping Les Deux Fontaines, near Raguenès in southern Brittany instead of costing £869 is now reduced to a total of just £739 - a saving of £130 - for 22 July arrivals.

This intimate resort nestles among lavender, wild fig, apple and olive trees and is just a stroll - down a country path - to a beautiful, secluded beach. But families will revel in the resort's pool complex, complete with a multi-lane slide and water chute.

Meanwhile, at Camping La Croix du Vieux at Berny-Rivière, just north of Paris, a week in a three-bedroom mobile home with outside deck now costs just £811 - a saving of £143 - for arrivals on 30 July.

As well as a superb pool area, this spacious resort in its beautiful parkland setting - on the banks of the River Ainse - boasts three lakes for fishing (carp and trout), canoeing, plus swimming and features weekly excursions to Paris and Disneyland Resort Paris.

Above prices are the total travel-inclusive costs for families of six - with up to four children - and, apart from accommodation, include return midweek saver Dover-Calais crossing for car and passengers with SeaFrance or P&O. If travel is not required deduct £50 from the costs above.
