Journeys to paradise

9th March 2009 Print
Titan HiTours, the escorted tours specialist, has unveiled its new 2009/2010 Paradise Journeys brochure with seven captivating new itineraries, to stimulate the adventuring spirit, without draining the bank account.

New for 2009 are tours to Patagonia, Malaysia, Las Vegas, Marrakech, Egypt and Petra. These new additions join a collection of Titan HiTours' most inspirational hand-picked long-haul itineraries, including a wide range of individually-themed tours to fascinating destinations across all six continents.

Mindful of the current economic climate, the new Paradise Journeys brochure is also introducing a 'no single supplements' benefit for solo travellers on its Cuban Discovery and Mexico and The Copper Canyon tours for selected dates throughout 2009 and 2010.

Launching the new brochure, Hugh Clayson, Marketing Director commented, "Our latest Paradise Journeys programme is designed to build on our trip of a lifetime holiday collection, introducing a range of brand new itineraries. These include the breathtaking raw beauty of Patagonia's peaks, glaciers and unspoilt wilderness and the fascinating and diverse contrasts of Malaysia with its melange of traditional culture, vibrantly modern capital Kuala Lumpur, lush rainforests, highlands and tropical islands.

"However given the current economic uncertainties, while continuing to inspire our clients, we are also concerned about cost and continue to provide great value for money across all of our holidays. For our 2009/2010 Paradise Journeys brochure, we are providing additional financial benefits to our solo travellers, with no single supplements on selected dates for our Cuban Discovery and Mexico and The Copper Canyon tours."

The newly introduced 15-day Patagonian Adventure costs from £3,995 per person and provides an awesome introduction to southern Argentina and Chile, including the vast wilderness of Tierra del Fuego, Torres del Paine National Park and the world famous Perito Moreno Glacier. The tour starts with Titan's VIP Home Departure Service to London Heathrow and scheduled flight to Buenos Aires.

Following a day exploring the Argentine capital, fly to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego for a fascinating view of its mountain ranges and coastal islands, as well as Escondido and Fagnano Lakes. The tour includes a catamaran trip along the Beagle Channel before flying to Punta Arenas in Chile. Chilean highlights include a day's boat ride on the Fjord of Last Hope visiting the Serrano and Balmaceda glaciers, the Bernado O'Higgins National Park and two nights in the Torres del Paine National Park with a cruise on Grey Lake.

The final part of this adventure concludes in Argentina on the shores of Lake Argentino with a visit to Perito Moreno Glacier and a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Los Glaciares National Park. The price includes door-to-door transfers with Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service, return scheduled flights with all taxes, transfers to and from all airports, accommodation, 12 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners and a variety of excursions.

An equally exciting new tour is the 13-day Magic of Malaysia holiday which costs from £1,995 per person includes Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, the Cameron Highlands, Belum Rainforest and Penag. From Malacca the tour returns to Kuala Lumpur for a look at Malaysia's contrastingly contemporary capital including the National Mosque, Independence Square and the Art Deco area of Central Market. Next on the itinerary are the lush rolling hills and terraced plantations of the Cameron Highlands, followed by the Belum Rainforest with a boat trip to Sira Basha to view its spectacular flora and fauna. Leaving the rainforest behind, the tour heads south crossing one of Asia's longest bridges onto the tropical paradise island of Penang for three nights of beach relaxation before transferring back to Kuala Lumpur for return flights home.
