Vacansoleil introduces two campsites in Portugal

25th March 2009 Print
Camping and mobile home specialist, Vacansoleil has introduced two campsites in Portugal - one on the Algarve and one in the north-west, on the Costa Verde - into its programme for 2009.

Both campsites are open year-round and offer a range of on-site facilities including pool, tennis, table tennis, playground and games room.

Camping Valverde on the Algarve, for example, is situated between Praia da Luz and the ancient city of Lagos and less than a mile from a sandy beach, plus Portimao - with its large sardine fleet - Albufeira and Sagres are all within easy reach.

A week's stay - for a family of up to four - in a fully equipped Bali mobile home leads in at £398 per party before the end of May, rising to £767 during peak season.

Alternatively head for the country's 'Green Coast', where Camping Rio Alto is situated amid the dunes and just 100m from the sandy beach at Póvoa de Varzim - between the cities of Porto and Braga. A week's stay - for a family of up to six - in a fully equipped three bedroom Waikiki mobile home costs £440 and £767 respectively.

All prices quoted include midweek return Dover-Calais Sea France or P&O crossing for car and passengers. If no ferry is required, the price is reduced by £90 (both campsites are within easy reach of airports: Faro on the Algarve, Porto in the north).
