Weekend breaks and week long holidays are available through Adventure North Wales and include activities such as Surfing, Coasteering, Canyoning and Clay Pigeon Shooting. Accommodation is flexible with hotel, B&B or self catering options and activities can be booked separately if no accommodation is required. Prices start from £135 for one night bed and breakfast with two half day activities e.g. Surfing and Coasteering.
Abersoch has been dubbed by many as the ‘Newquay of North Wales’ with its funky surf shops, beach cafes and laid back attitude but in fact has so much more to offer. The surrounding landscape and rugged coastline lends itself to a range of activities including the lesser known Coasteering, which involves traversing the ledges and crags of a coastal rock face, jumping and leaping into the sea waters and scrambling over boulders. Canyoning is a neoprene wearing activity, following the course of a river down stream, scrambling over boulders, sliding down rock slabs and jumping into rock pools.
The resort is firmly on the map both in North Wales and the rest of the UK as it hosts the annual Abersoch Jazz Festival (11 - 14 June) and Wakeboard Festival (10 -13 July) – both lively and very well attended events.
