Water, water, everywhere

For a wealth of fun in the water - both indoor and outdoor - head to the Recreatiepark Hengelhoef campsite in Belgium which has just been added to camping and mobile home specialist, Vacansoleil's programme for 2009.

Water-based facilities include a tropical pool paradise - with a wave pool, wild water river, Jacuzzi and waterslides - heated indoor pools, a large outdoor shallow pool for children complete with a sandy beach and pirate ship and a 20 hectare fishing lake where swimming is also permitted.

Other on-site facilities include tennis, table tennis, mini golf, outdoor and indoor playground and games room, plus cycle hire is available just outside the campsite.

During May and June, a week's stay in a fully-equipped three-bedroom Waikiki mobile home - sleeping up to six - costs from £438 per party, whilst in peak season (17 July to 20 August) the cost is £753.

These prices include midweek return Dover-Calais Sea France or P&O crossing for car and passengers. If no ferry is required, the price is reduced by £90.

The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling, plus the Zolder motor racing circuit and the indoor Plopsaland theme park at Hasselt are both within easy reach.
