May offers value for money city breaks

16th April 2009 Print
Great value city breaks for families - to a choice of European destinations - are available during the May half-term courtesy of city break specialist, Cities Direct.

For example, head to Prague and enjoy a three-night stay with breakfast at the centrally-located three-star Abri Hotel from just £199 per person, based on four sharing a family room and inclusive of return flights from Gatwick on 26 May.

Prague boasts a wealth of medieval architecture, museums and palaces with must-see sights including the old castle, the famous medieval astronomy clock, Saint Vitus Cathedral and Charles Bridge.

Alternatively, a three-night break with breakfast at the two-star St Gothard Hotel in Nice costs from £239 per person, based on four sharing a family room and inclusive of return Stansted flights on 25 May.

Ideally situated in the city centre, the hotel is close to the 'Promenade des Anglais' and its beaches, the main shopping avenue with its boutiques, departments stores and restaurants, plus museums housing Chagall and Matisse art collections.

Extra nights and hotel upgrades are available at a supplement.
