Head to St Tropez for film festival fun

Luxury operator Sanctuary Retreats has added a luxury villa in St Tropez to its portfolio in time for the Cannes Film Festival, which this year takes place between 13th and 24th May 2009. Sanctuary Retreats has further announced that it still has availability at three of its properties in and around Cannes during the festival.

‘Villa 7’ is a stylish villa designed in the neo-Provencal style. It has stunning views of the bay, the Alps and the village of St Tropez. The property has three ensuite bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. What’s more, ‘Villa 7’ also has a wine cellar, an outside dining terrace and a 17m heated pool set amongst the garden’s palm trees. Cannes is a short boat trip away from St. Tropez.

Sanctuary Retreats has three other villas that, at the time of going to press, still have availability during the two weeks of the Cannes Film Festival. These include the 1920s property, ‘Vue de la Mer’ which is just a short ride from the centre of Cannes and the famous Palais des Festivals. The villa sleeps up to ten people across five bedrooms, all of which are ensuite. ‘Vue de la Mer’ also benefits from an infinity swimming pool and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

‘Le Roc’, which is situated just outside Cannes in Théoule-sur-Mer, boasts four double ensuite bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people very comfortably. The villa has a stunning garden, which features a variety of fruit trees and which is dominated by 10m x 8m swimming pool. ‘Le Roc’ currently has availability for the Cannes Film Festival.

‘St Paul’ is currently still free for both the Cannes and the Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place the week after the film festival. The villa is situated within a short driving distance of Cannes and just 3km from the artistic town of St Paul de Vence. It can accommodate up to eight people in four bedrooms.

‘Eze’ in the exclusive Eze Bord de Mer, still has availability for the Monaco Grand Prix, which is just 15km from the villa. The property is perched on a cliff top with magnificent views of the Mediterranean. It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms.
