Get away from it all on an Italian island

20th April 2009 Print
Get away from it all on an Italian island Why not try something a little different. Salina is the second largest and the greenest of Italy’s seven Aeolian Islands. Almost every house on Salina has views of the sea and from a distance Salina looks entirely green with two rounded high mountains and a smooth coastline.

More than 400 different types of plants grow here and the cultivation of grapes, olives and capers are basically a rite. There is an annual Caper Festival held on Salina during the first weekend of June every year and the first week in October is Eolian Food and Wine week.

Salina offers many sights, the cliffs, the charming beaches and the villages with their typical white houses along the seafront or on the hillsides.

Get away from it all with a stay at this beautiful house in typical Aeolian style and located in the area of Pollara. The house is rustic, simple and panoramically located.

Book from the 2nd May to the 26th June 2009 at a cost of £1,350.00 If booked and confirmed by the 1st May 2009 – Early Bird Discount of 5% will be applied.
