Greater choice for UK ‘staycationers’

With the well-documented 'UK bounce' seeing more families opting to holiday in the UK this year, Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire has gone all-out to contract extra accommodation for late spring and summer, with an additional 12 properties now featured on the website.

Examples include:

- Croft Suite in Tenby is a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment in a Georgian terrace close to North Beach and the harbour. A week's rental in June starts at £386; in July/August price is £712.

- West Tarr Cottage - on a quiet country lane near the village of St Florence and just two miles from the popular seaside resort of Tenby. The cottage sleeps four and costs £389 for a week in May, rising to £740 in July/August.

- The Officer's House - an Edwardian end-terrace, once a coastguard cottage on St Ann's Head with breathtaking coast and sea views. Sleeping six, the property is available for rental in July and August at £850.

- Kilvelgy Farmhouse (sleeps 12) is a large, detached traditional stone house in the village of Kilgetty, five minutes' drive from the beaches of Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge, plus the harbour village of Saundersfoot. A week's rental in early June is £875, rising to £1516 in peak season.
