Head to Crete for half-term savings

There are bargains to be had on Crete even at Half Term says villa specialist Freelance Holidays. From their portfolio of more than 70 properties on the island, they are highlighting Pericles Beach Villa for families arriving 26 May.

Just 500m from the beach the villa has its own pool plus a small pool for children, large sun terraces with great sea views - and a barbecue. The three-bed, three-bathroom villa sleeps six and now costs £850 for seven nights, saving £210 on the original price of £1060.

The Old Olive Mill is another great deal. The week of 26 May was £995 but now costs £840, saving £155. As the three-bed, three-shower villa sleeps six, this makes Half Term a bargain at £140 per person.
