Exploring Russia’s imperial cities

The tour begins in Moscow with highlights including, the Kremlin, Novodevichy Convent, Zagorsk (still a working monastery and one of Russia’s most historic landmarks) and the Tretyakov Gallery (which houses the worls’s finest collection of Russian icons).

Next its onto St Petersburg – founded by Peter the Great in 1703 – and now Russia’s second city. Highlights here include, the Winter Palace, the Hermitage, the Cathedral of the Peter-Paul fortress, the Smolny Convent, the Stroganov and Vorontsov Palaces and several great museums, galleries and other wonderful places of interest. All sightseeing and entrance fees are included.
