Get active for summer holiday savings in France

Special deals on family summer activity holidays to four adventure centres in France where virtually everything is included - accommodation, meals, activities and entertainment - have been announced by PGL.

The 20 per cent reductions apply on a variety of seven-night holidays at centres in Normandy, near Paris, in the Dordogne and in southern France.

For example, week-long stays at Château du Tertre near Mayenne in Normandy are available starting Saturdays between 19 July and 16 August. With the saving, prices are now £263 per adult, £239 for children aged six-to-18 years and £124 for the two-to-fives. For a 'typical' family of two adults and two older children, the total price is now £1004 - saving £252.

Activities at the centre - which is set in 36 acres alongside the Varenne River - include abseiling, canoeing, orienteering, raft building, trapeze and zip wire.

At the Château de Grande Romaine adventure centre near Paris holidays are available between 19 July and 23 August and, as well as lots of on-site activities, include a day's entrance to Disneyland Resort Paris and a coach transfer to Paris for sightseeing with a Seine cruise.

This adventure centre is set in 70 acres and also has lots of great facilities included in the price - everything from trapeze to archery and swimming, low ropes to abseiling and orienteering. With the reductions, prices are now £340 per adult, £320 for older children and £159 for the two-to-fives.

All prices are inclusive of full-board accommodation in adjoining, ensuite rooms, all activities with tuition, plus evening entertainment. Ex UK travel is not included.
