Saddle up for the ride of your life

There's no better way of experiencing the real Australia. By day would-be drovers, in true Hugh ‘drover’ Jackman-style, help move the herd across the vast but surprisingly diverse landscapes, while by night they unwind beside a roaring campfire under a canopy of stars. Guests will be based at Anna Creek, the world's largest cattle station (the size of Belgium) in the South Australian Outback. Those who want to re-live a very real part of Australian history can choose from six different tours in August 2010, each lasting five days.
The Outback Cattle Drive 5-day packages with Bridge & Wickers cost from £1,523 per person including tented accommodation (with beds, duvets, shared bathroom with hot showers and flushing loos), all meals, daily transfers to rejoin the cattle and, of course, your horse. Inexperienced riders (over 18) are welcome and there's also the option to tour the area by coach (as an alternative to droving). International flights and transfers from Adelaide are not included.
