To Sri or not to Sri

Speaking about the spike, Gemma Kidby, key2holidays’ dedicated Indian Ocean product manager commented, “Now is the time to visit Sri Lanka: the island offers world-class beaches, inspiring cultural tours plus 5 star accommodation at 3 star prices. The military offensive that deterred the cautious seems to be coming to an end, and confidence is restored.”
Brand new 5 star ‘Reef’ in Sri Lanka opens its boutique doors
5 star ‘Reef,’ a brand new boutique hotel on the beach in Wadduwa, Sri Lanka has just opened its teak doors for the first time. One of the most intimate hotels in Sri Lanka, the ocean-view hideaway has just seven spacious suites.
Suites are decorated in an Indian Colonial style using colourful silks and antique wooden furniture, surrounded by tranquil lily ponds and tropical gardens. Each has a spacious private veranda from which to enjoy the sunset. There is an infinity pool, two restaurants, a running track and tennis court, beach frontage and beach bar. A shop and a spa will open later this year.
Located on Sri Lanka’s west coast – an unspoiled area considered ‘safe’ - just 1.5 hours from the airport, the hotel is ideally-placed for combining with one of the ‘Cultural Triangle’ tours offered by key2holidays.
7 nights at the new 5 star ‘Reef’ costs from £827pp including return scheduled flights with Sri Lankan Airlines from Heathrow to Colombo, transfers, and accommodation in a Lily Pond room including breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés. Book by 31 May 2009. Valid for travel until 30 June 2009. For bookings after 31 May, prices from £1055pp until 16 July 2009.
