Top of the holiday bargains
A new survey by flight aggregator, Skyscanner, shows the top 10 most popular holiday destinations this summer – with a definite shy away from the Eurozone.In at number four is Turkey’s Dalaman where Olympic Holidays is highlighting a per person saving of £189 when a couple share a one-bedroom apartment at Marmaris.
New price for a week at the Gizem Hotel Apartments & Pool is just £245 per person including return Gatwick flight on 13 July, transfers and seven nights self-catering.
Closely following is Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh where the operator can offer a saving of £215 per person for an all-inclusive week at the four-star Hilton Sharks Bay Resort.
The revised price is only £559 each, twin share, including return Gatwick flights on 2 July, transfers and seven nights all-inclusive.
Then back in Turkey again is Bodrum at number eight where canny couples can save £209 each and pay just £255 per person for seven nights – with breakfast – at the two-star plus Safir Hotel & Pool, just 50m from the beach in a peaceful area of Bitez.
As well as accommodation, this excellent price also includes return Stansted flights on 13 July and transfers.
Finally, Bulgaria, where there’s a late season reduction of £85 per person for a week’s B&B at the three-star Glarus Hotel situated at the heart of Sunny Beach with all the resort’s trendy coffee shops, restaurants and bars close by.
The new price is just £345 per person including return Gatwick flight on 28 September, transfers and seven nights with breakfast.
