Schedule in some family time this summer

What with the hectic pace of modern life it is no wonder that modern families are spending less and less time together. In fact, the average family manages to spend just 45 minutes a day together, according to a new poll published this week by YoungPoll and OnePoll, with most of that time spent in front of the TV.

First Choice conducted their own, similar survey back in 2008 and found that families spend an awful lot more time together when on holiday, with 87% of families spending four or more hours together a day on holiday, compared to just 15% of families spending the same amount together when at home.
