Louis Cruises tempts single travellers
Louis Cruises, the Mediterranean cruise-only specialist, has waived the single supplement on all Summer 2009 sailings for its ‘Splendours of Greece and Turkey’ itinerary on the Cristal. The offer is available on all cabin categories (except suites) and on all sailing dates until 23 October 2009.
“The cruise industry has a poor reputation when it comes to supplements for single travellers,” says Louis Cruises’ Peter Adamou, general manager for UK and Ireland.
“We have decided to test the singles market with this unique offer on the Cristal.”
The seven-night cruise sails from Piraeus (Athens) every Friday, calling at Istanbul, Mykonos, Patmos, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini before returning to Piraeus a week later.
Prices start at £379 for sole occupancy of a two-berth Standard Inside Stateroom. This includes all meals on board, entertainment and port taxes, but not flights.
Selected sailings on the Orient Queen’s ‘Mediterranean Jewels’ and the Coral’s Spanish Odyssey itineraries are also on offer to single travellers with no supplement to pay.
