Brides to-be say 'I Do' to FitFarms

Women wanting to lose their muffin tops, bingo wings and unsightly cankles before their wedding are increasingly turning to FitFarms.co.uk.
The award-winning sports science fitness and weight-loss camp exclusively for women says it sees ladies of every shape and size coming to shed the pounds.
“Every guest has their own personal goal,” says Julie Brealy, health manager at FitFarms. “And over the summer we see a lot of ladies trying to lose enough weight to fit into their wedding dress.
“It’s supposed to be the most perfect day of their life and nobody wants to feel fat and shy away from the cameras.”
Many brides-to-be book their mothers or bridesmaids on the course too, says Brealy. “For some it’s a bonding experience before the big day.
“It’s all part of the wedding planning. They come to FitFarms to get fit before buying the dresses, choosing the hairstyles and booking the spray tan.”
FitFarms runs seven-day fitness programmes in both the Peak District and Devon. By combining exercise with psychotherapy sessions and nutrition workshops, the course aims to help women maintain their weight loss.
“We don’t just want women to lose the extra pounds for the wedding,” says Brealy. “It’s important that the guests understand how to stay fit and healthy in the long-term.”
The Sunday Times voted FitFarms the UK’s number one weight-loss camp. Courses run throughout the year; private or shared rooms are available.
