Enjoy a privileged insight into the most famous wildlife habitat in Africa complete with the Big Five, through the eyes of one of the most well known and culturally intact cultures left in Africa, the Samburu and the Maasai.

This exceptional opportunity exclusive to African & Indian Explorations gives you and your family and friends the chance to gain in depth experience in wildlife tracking following an elephant, giraffe or leopard, learn survival skills, visit an original Samburu village, learn how to use bows, arrows, pangas and spears, build a bush camp, tend goats and cattle whilst listening to Samburu stories, sing songs and play their drums and flutes as well as learn how to dance Samburu style under a brilliant moon.

Set within the ecosystem of the Kalama region, famous for its elephants, giraffes, Grevy zebra and spectacular mountains, guests can enjoy a vast array of game and wildlife during their safari and when wishing to spend time with the warriors will be accompanied by Saruni guides, Sambara Langamynyak and Lepayon Lekoitip. Lepayon, the long haired warrior, is a phenomenal tracker and Sambara has a fabulous ability to spot animals from a great distance, understand movements of wild animals and read tracks left during the night on the sand.

Over the 7 days guests can spend as much or as little time as they wish with these incredible guides where they will be introduced to the beauty of the Masai Mara and the Kalama Conservancy and the culture of these warriors. Learn how to survive out in the bush, eating and drinking plants, flowers and fruits, how to bead and create water carriers from the Maasai women and even follow a shepherd for the day who will train you how to graze cows, goats and sheep.
