Peak savings for family camping in France

Venue Holidays has just announced 20% reductions at selected French resorts for peak season holidays starting before 8 August. The best saving of £274 is at Camping Village Les Mouettes, set in woodland – overlooking The Bay of Morlaix – near Carantec on Brittany’s north coast.

The resort boasts a superb pool complex – complete with three water chutes starting in the tree canopy, a lazy river, as well as jacuzzi and sauna – which is even open at night once a week in high season.

The revised price for a family of up to six, staying in a three-bedroom mobile home for 12 nights – from 1 August – is just £1095 including return midweek Dover-Calais crossing.

Another Brittany bargain – with a saving of £206 for 15 nights from 7 August – is on offer at Camping Les Deux Fontaines, near Raguenès on the south coast, just a short stroll (15 minutes down a rural path) from a beautiful secluded beach.

New price for a four-bedroom tent, sleeping a family of up to six, is just £823 including 15 nights’ accommodation and return midweek Dover-Calais crossing.

Other resorts that are part of this offer are Camping La Plage, near St Hilaire-de-Riez in the Vendée and Camping La Croix du Vieux Pont, close to Paris.
