Anyone for tennis?

12th June 2009 Print
With Wimbledon 2009 set to start on 21 June, Scottish cottage agency, Ecosse Unique, is highlighting a choice of properties – each with the use of a tennis court – for those inspired to try their hand at the game.

These include ‘Mains of Kynachan’ a superb conversion situated right on the edge of Loch Tummel, 15 miles from Fort William in Perthshire.

The property is split into two wings – Ben Vrackie (sleeping six) and Schiehallion (sleeping four) – both completely self-contained and each having an open plan living area with open fire and private terrace. The property can also be let as a whole, sleeping ten people.

Guests have the use of a tennis court situated in front of the steading and inside there is a communal games room with a small snooker/pool table and piano. There are also superb loch side, forest and hill walks from the door.

As an example of price, a seven-night holiday in Ben Vrackie costs £525 in August or £465 in early September, while a week in Schiehallion is priced at £435 in August or £385 in early September.
