Also nestling in the foothills of the Dales is Swaledale House featuring two one-bedroom apartments, Lovely Seat and Kisdon – with panoramic views of Kisdon Fell – both reduced from £450 to just £395 for the same period.
Each has use of a leisure suite – complete with sauna and an outdoor hot tub – and provides a romantic retreat for two or can be rented together providing accommodation for four (peak weeks still available for this arrangement).
Finally, Plum Tree Cottage is another one-bedroom property – this time close to the centre of Kirbymoorside, in the middle of the North Yorks Moors – that’s been reduced for the peak months of July and August.
Sleeping two – and a dog at no extra charge – this stylish converted stone farm building, standing beside a working farm with views over open countryside, also has a travel cot and high chair available and now costs just £350 (down from £410) for a week in August.
