Summer holiday savings in Ironbridge

A week’s stay in Valley Cottage near Jackfield, in the heart of the stunning Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire has been reduced by 10% during the July and August summer holidays down to £522 for four guests.

Recently refurbished, the delightful cottage has an excellent fitted kitchen with dining area, living room, large conservatory overlooking the sun trap garden, and double and twin bedrooms; floors are stripped pine and there’s digital TV with Freeview and wi-fi for those who need to stay in contact. Valley Cottage features two stained glass windows created by a local artist; the bathroom window depicts an owl to signify those living nearby. There’s also an original Little Wenlock gas stove in the kitchen.
Jackfield Tile Museum and creative arts centre is five minutes walk from the cottage, while the Iron Bridge itself is just 10 minutes on foot and there are numerous pubs and restaurants within easy reach.
